A custom residential project in Foshan — two matching all-glass staircases, designed as a symmetrical pair for the same home.
Vertical lines, kept minimal. Single-wall mounting, with warm recessed spotlights set into the tread edges. Both treads and balustrades are built from multi-layer ultra-clear tempered laminated glass, connected with 304 stainless steel hardware. The full-height glass panels let light move freely through the space. Tread surfaces are finished with anti-slip grooves.
The material of choice — ultra-clear tempered laminated glass — carries a strong structural logic. It handles bending loads from normal use without issue. It resists impact. It maintains stability under repeated loading over time. Under concentrated point loads, it holds its form. And in the unlikely event of breakage, the laminated construction keeps the assembly together rather than collapsing.
