Beijing Sephora — Modern Glass Staircase for a Fashion Flagship
A custom glass staircase for the Sephora flagship store in Beijing. The store's polished, fashion-forward retail aesthetic called for a structure that felt both light and bold — a staircase that moves with the brand’s energy.
Bold, avant-garde pairing of mirror-finish stainless steel and glass — a combination chosen for its reflective depth and transparency. The stainless steel adds a sharp, contemporary edge to the space; the glass brings strong transparency, allowing sightlines to extend naturally and blending the staircase into the retail environment.
Dual stainless steel stringers with a twisted profile give the staircase its distinctive silhouette. Rather than working against the existing curved opening, the design followed its form — letting the natural geometry of the space shape the staircase’s lines.
